Robin Henager, Ph.D. is an award-winning researcher and assistant professor in Economics and Finance in the School of Business at Whitworth University, in Spokane, WA. She received her Ph.D. in Financial Planning, Housing and Consumer Economics from the University of Georgia. Her research focuses in the area of financial literacy, financial education, and student debt. She also leads a peer educator program at Whitworth focusing on financial literacy for college students. Her recent article on the subject of financial literacy and financial behavior by age group, published in the Journal of Financial Counseling and Planning, has been named article of the year for the Association of Financial Counseling and Planning Education.
